I’m starting to notice daylight at 4:30 PM, which feels celebration-worthy to me, and also Lunar New Year is coming up. This puzzle does not reflect my celebratory feelings about either of these things, but have fun solving it anyway! (And I do have a Lunar New Year-themed cryptic in The Browser this weekend, so I hope you’ll solve that one too.)

This one might be slightly less tough than nails. It’s another one that I made with a mainstream market in mind, getting the dreaded “this is well made, but not one of our top ones” response. Oh well! I had fun with the clues on this one and I hope you do too.

For personal and professional reasons, oneth of the month mini cryptics are going away again, unfortunately.
Apologies to my cryptic lovers: Partly because I’m getting more paying puzzle work (yay!) and partly for personal reasons, I need to cut back on unpaid projects for a while. Mini cryptics are first on the chopping block. Tough as Nails themelesses, #crypticclueaday, and #crypticcluecontest will continue for the foreseeable future.
